In 2017, during one of the most desperate, lonely, and vulnerable times in my life, I cried out to God for help. I found myself asking, “What is my purpose?” as I faced the harsh reality of being incarcerated and struggling to find meaning. That was when God answered me in the most profound way—He showed me the importance of humility and the power of service.
It was through that experience of brokenness that I came to understand that humbleness isn’t just an attitude—it’s a way of life. God revealed to me that my purpose was not to be defined by my past mistakes, but to serve others, especially those who are underserved and overlooked. He showed me that sometimes, all a person really needs is a fresh start, a renewed outlook, and the opportunity to rebuild their life with dignity.
With a second chance and a new beginning, I committed to helping others experience the same hope and transformation. That’s where housing comes into play. I believe no one should be defined by their past, especially if they’ve taken the necessary steps to do better. At WE LIVE 2 SERVE HOUSING, we provide just that—a fresh start. People are given new opportunities, real smiles, and a place where they can rebuild their lives.
Our mission is simple: we restore houses to restore futures. Every home we rehabilitate is more than just a building—it’s a symbol of hope, healing, and a brighter tomorrow. Just as I was given a second chance, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to start over, to heal, and to thrive.
